Moving from the city to a new home in the country can be tough. Just ask Henry, who can’t find a playmate in his new neighborhood!  Luckily, he’s got Mudge, a great big, 182-pound, slobbery canine buddy, with whom he can share all kinds of adventures. Follow the exploits of Henry and Mudge in this exuberant musical based on Cynthia Rylant’s best-selling books.

Josh Casey Comedy and Juggling Show

Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia's award-winning performance features spectacular black light puppetry and brings to life three of Eric Carle classic and timeless stories. This stunning production includes the story of THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR’s metamorphosis into a beautiful butterfly; the fanciful account of LITTLE CLOUD’s travels through the sky; and THE MIXED-UP CHAMELEON’s discovery of his own unique nature. These whimsical stories enchant and delight both young and old and provide a new generation with an entry into the world of live theatre and music.

A annual summer tradition~ Flicks on the Field this Saturday night

It may be nearing the end of the summer, but there is one more thing to check off your bucket list. The annual Flicks on the Field under the light of the moon will be this Saturday, August 24th. The weather is looking great for a beautiful night to watch Madagascar 3. (Rain date is Sunday, August 25th.)

The festivities kick off at 6:30 pm. Pizza and snacks will be available for purchase or avoid the lines and pack a picnic dinner. There will be activities for the little kids to get their wiggles out before the movie begins at 7:45. Remember to pack a lawn blanket, a cozy sweatshirt and bug spray. All families are asked to bring an item to donate to the Needham Community Council Food Pantry. Items most needed are listed at http://needhamcommunitycouncil.org/.
